Monday....that fateful evening
Today ... ie Monday it was the beginning of the week, there was long queue for the beneficiaries, the elderly persons had come along their near and dear ones to get vaccinated. The vaccination team had arranged the sequences and at the end of the day 100 beneficiaries availed the benefit. We had received circular stating that the persons of aged 60 and above can be vaccinated on producing ID cards but persons aged 45 onwards can also be vaccinated with comorbidities with the list of diseases mentioned in their list.
Moreover the gap between the first dose and the second dose should be between 29-42 days but today a circular was received, according to that the gap between the the fresh dose of vaccination and 2nd dose of vaccination should not be more than 8weeks. It was a great relief for the beneficiaries.
Today 100 nos. of beneficiaries availed the vaccination. The caping of rates (Rs 250/- per dose)by the government has enabled common people to avail the benefit. Free vaccinations are being provided in the government facilities.
As per our day to day activity, round was conducted in Mother & Child block. few areas needed attention which was conveyed to the concerned person to rectify the same.
The day ended with satisfying note. As I drove back home, the road was found to be busy ... as usual traffic jam,,, reached home,
After reaching home ...,, was enjoying tea with the family members.... then came the unexpected call,. the mother of my husband's colleague was not well and was hospitalised as she was fighting from the deadly disease. had to be rushed to ICU as her oxygen level was dropping, My husband rushed to the hospital as his colleague might need support at thie critical moment,,,,,
We came to know later
let's pray for her speedy recovery.🙏🙏🙏
