  Today is Bijaya dashamai,also known as Dussehra, Dasara or Dashain is the major festival celebrated at the end of Navratri.Devotees put tika on the forehead,pray and burn the effigy of Ravana. It is the Victory of Good over Evil. In our organisation we celebrate this day in a different way.We undertake cleaning drive and do thorough cleaning of the departments. We ensure that the unwanted items are disposed off. The building gets a new look as our houses get at the time of Deepawali. On this auspicious day foundation stone for one of our block ie Marwari Maternity was laid in the year 1985. The key members distribute fruits to the patients. On this day housekeeping departments takes the lead role. After   fruit distribution we have delicious "Jalebi", after day's hard work  it's a big feast for us.  Friends, As we recall, from March 24, 2020 our life has taken a big turn. Few new words has been added to our vocabulary "LOCKDOWN 1"  "LOCKDOWN 2"  "LOCKDOWN 3"  "LOCKDOWN 4"  UNLOCKING LOCKDOWN 1, UNLOCKING LOCKDOWN 2,UNLOCKING LOCKDOWN 3, UNLOCKING LOCKDOWN 4. Everyday in the evening we wait for the Statistics... X nos. of patient got infected with coronavirus,  Y nos. of patient got recovered Z nos. of patient succumbed to coronavirus. Roads and bye lanes are found thinly populated, Offices operating with 30-40% staff,  Many youngsters have lost their jobs, few are receiving only half of their total salary, Schools , colleges are closed, it has been replaced by the online classes No longer "Atithi Devo Bhava" Children and elderly have confined themselves to in-doors. No parties, No outings.....every body enjoying home cooked foods, Every nook and corner you can often listen people discussing, as well as giving expert opinion on cor...

Today is the 9th day 12.07.2020 Sunday.. missing home...got up early..as the number of patients were increasing .... had to make queue for washroom.. I had breakfast..took bath...a nurse called up all the patients for exercise ..after exercise .... every body became busy with their activities...  I switched on the video of Ramdev and started doing anulom vilom...kapalbhati...I continued it for around 45minutes.......I didn't know when I feltafelt sleepy and went to sleep. I woked by with a jerk...I thought it was earthquake... when I woke up I saw Maina and a nurse were staring at me.... even other patients were looking at me in surprise.... when I enquired the nurse replied that she was trying to wake me up but unable to..even Maina was calling me but I didn't woke up so they were about to take me to the bathroom...and shower water on me... I looked at myself the earphone was plugged inside my ears hence I didn't hear them ...the nurse added that i am discharged....hence n...

Today is the 8th day.. yesterday they took my swab......on query they informed that the reports will made available with in  3-4 days... Got up late today.... even other patients were  on bed... slowly the day activity started.. Breakfast was served ...I found the paratha was not cooked properly hence I had the other items i.e motor, egg, biscuits, juice and the tea.... I had chawanprash.. ...also...inhaled menthol.. I wanted to get rid of the cough ..there was little improvement.. I decided to increase the frequency...did gurgle because on the core of my heart I was little worried as I was not getting relief of cough....but the doctor assured me not to worry because it was allergic cough... Today patient  adjacent to my bed got released, she had revealed that her son was born in our hospital hence we became very close to  each other...she got released but her daughter didn't clear the test.. ..she enquired the nurses about the Main's report...but they said may be he...

I guess one can feel how the day started...I hardly had sleep..I couldn't understand how things will be sorted out.... husband rang me up informed that he would be shifted to Khanapara quarantine centre by 10.30 am, I told him to be cool and handle the situation.........we were worried about our daughter.....till date one of us was always available with her but today we both had to leave ... I prayed to God to give us strength to handle the situation...my husband was little concern for me as I still had throat irritation...I told him not to worry and take care of himself.... It would be not justifiable if I don't thank our Pharmacy in - charge Ms Plabita who arranged Chawanprash, rnenthol, honey so that I could get myself relieved from throat irritation...and  the medicines which was prescribed by the on-duty doctor..the canteen boy who was kind enough to bring dinner from my hospital so that I could have better food and get relieve at the earliest.. 5 days has passed today is the 6th day....got up early did anulom vilom....... trying my best to get rid of my throat irritation. It was observed that some patients had symptoms and hence treatment was done accordingly....but few had no symptoms initially....but during stay they developed symptoms. Doctors visited patients on regular basis.... but the doctor who had visited today listened to the patient patiently...he visited each patient's bedside and prescribed medicines Every body appreciated his approach.....we enjoyed the breakfast..it was Puri, Rajma,egg, tea...in the lunch we had chicken....it was tasty. I remember at home due to lockdown we could hardly have chicken, fish, we had to limit ourself to Alu Pitika, Jika,karela..bhaji...We were thankfull to the govt that they have been arranging such nutritious food in quarantine centres even during lockdown. My colleague who was in Khanapara informed that she was happy with the facilities provided to the patients , it was like ...

Today is the 5th day..got up late..... most of the patients were still on bed. May be they were missing home....far away from home....left their children home.Some of them informed that their husband were admitted in male ward of MMCH....no body to look after their children.. Time will heal..no body is mightier than time... It was raining outside.....it made the atmosphere cool Due to rain the low lying areas were flooded.... people got stuck on the way to their homes. We were fighting with corona and people outside were fighting with flood no body at ease... Every body tried to make themselves at ease.....few listened music... few made tea and served.. elderly women prayed..,"Naam" This is HOPE... though we get tough time in life Hope keeps us going.... Corona cannot break the spirit...there is always home......... .
